EDEXCEL – BTEC HNC/HND in Business (Accounting Pathway)

The Edexcel BTEC Higher Nationals in Business have been developed with career progression and recognition by professional bodies in mind.

This programme supports individuals employed or entering employment in business related areas and equips them with knowledge, understanding and skills for success in a range of administrative and management positions in business and accounting.

On completion of the BTEC Level 5 HND you can progress to a 1 year top-up for a full Honours Degree with any UK University.

To successfully achieve the BTEC HND in Business you must achieve a minimum credit value of 240 credits.

Mandatory core unit credit: 125 credits + Specialist unit credit: 115 credits

What are the entry requirements?

  • An A-Level pass in a relevant subject with appropriate supporting passes at GCSE
  • Access to Higher Education Certificate awarded by an approved Further Education institution
  • Appropriate work experience.
