Association of International Accountants (AIA) – QCF Level 7

Duration – 3 years

The AIA is an International body for professional accountants.  Founded in 1928, the AIA professional qualification is renowned in over 30 countries, with members in 85 countries worldwide.  The AIA is one of six highly Recognised Qualifying Bodies (RQBs) in the United Kingdom for statutory auditors under the Companies Act 2006 and has a designated body across the European Union.  AIA members are proficiently qualified to undertake accountancy employment in the public and private sectors at the top of the industry from senior management to director level.

What are the entry requirements?

  • Minimum 2 A Level passes and three GCSE passes(including English and Maths) or
  •  Equivalent UK or overseas qualification or
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in accountancy profession

How is the course assessed?

ü  By external examination through AIA.  All examinations are 3 hours.

On Completion of the foundation level you will be awarded Certificate in Accounting

On Completion of the Professional 1 level you will be awarded Advanced Diploma in Accounting

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL 2

Financial Accounting 3 Professional Practice (Auditing)
Financial Management Taxation and Tax planning

On Completion of the Professional Level 2 stage and 3 years work experience you will be awarded aProfessional Qualification.

MODES OF STUDY:
